Commercial locksmith, South Dublin
Keeping premises secure and staff able to get on with their work.
Commercial doors take far more use than domestic ones, and they fail differently. A shop entrance opened three hundred times a day wears out mechanisms that would last decades on a house.
What we do for businesses
- Emergency lockouts and out-of-hours call-outs
- Master key systems, so one key opens the doors a role needs and no others
- High-use door hardware, closers and panic hardware
- Lock changes when staff leave or keys go missing
- Security reviews of entrances, stockrooms and rear access
Master key systems
A properly designed master key system gives a manager one key for everything, staff a key for their own areas, and a clean way to remove access when someone leaves. Getting the hierarchy right at the design stage matters more than the hardware.
Fire doors and escape routes
Any lock on an escape route must let people out without a key. We work within that constraint rather than around it.
Commercial — common questions
Can you work outside business hours?
Yes. Most commercial work is better done when the premises are closed.
A staff member left without returning keys. What now?
Depending on the system, we can rekey the affected cylinders rather than replacing everything, which is usually the cheaper route.
